Build Carolina is celebrating National Apprenticeship Week this November

This November, we are excited to join ApprenticeshipUSA in celebrating 10 years of National Apprenticeship Week!

What is a Registered Apprenticeship Program?

Registered Apprenticeship programs are proving effective in finding the right talent, developing that talent on the job, and growing and meeting business goals.

Registered Apprenticeship is an industry-driven, high-quality career pathway where employers can develop and prepare their future workforce, and individuals can obtain paid work experience with a mentor, receive progressive wage increases, classroom instruction, and a portable, nationally-recognized credential.  Registered Apprenticeships are industry-vetted and approved and validated by the U.S. Department of Labor or a State Apprenticeship Agency.

RAPs enable and energize more employers to participate and provide them access to larger talent pools that have been trained for entry-level to management positions, thereby meeting industry demands and reducing unemployment rates across the country.

Our Registered Apprenticeship bridges the gap between early-career job seekers in software, data, cloud, and cyber security and innovative employers seeking quality, motivated employees.

πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» Registered Apprenticeship in New & Emerging Industries & Around the Globe

πŸ—“οΈ Tuesday, November 19th - 5:30-6:30 pm ET (Zoom)

You have likely heard about apprenticeships in other industries. Apprenticeships are proving effective in finding the right talent, developing that talent on the job, and growing and meeting business goals.

Our apprenticeship integrates job training with continued education. Apprentices gain hands-on experience through real-life projects, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings.

We help talent and employers find each other by taking care of the pre-hire steps of the process. We find the talent, interview them, and match them with employers; our support doesn’t stop there!

Our team continues supporting our apprentices and employer hosts throughout the six months. We include a structured mentorship element to ensure apprentices receive personalized guidance and support throughout their journey, fostering professional and personal growth. This holistic approach equips apprentices with essential skills and prepares them for long-term career success.

Join us for this virtual event to learn more and have all your questions about apprenticeships answered!
