We're thrilled to celebrate the recent graduates of our full-time web development course!

Completing this intensive program is an incredible achievement, and we're immensely proud of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence. Their journey has equipped them with programming languages and adjacent skills, and they're now prepared to make a significant impact in the tech world.

Chelsea Snider, this cohort's TA, documented the experience's final six weeks. In her last installment, she asked the graduates questions to help them reflect on their learning journey.

Question: If someone you knew was considering going to a bootcamp, would you recommend Carolina Code School? Why, or why wouldn't you recommend CCS?

Megan: “I CANNOT SCREAM IT LOUD ENOUGH...Carolina Code School changed my life. The instructors, admin staff, alumni, and Build Carolina folks are, hands down, some of the best people on the planet. Your journey is truly at the center of everything, and they go above and beyond to make sure you succeed.”

Santi: “I would definitely recommend Carolina Code School! The support here is very holistic — from the technical to the emotional, and they will help prepare you not just as a developer, but as a professional making your entry into a new world. Worth every penny!”

Jaylen: “I have already recommended CCS to a couple of friends. I think this is a great school with an amazing teacher. Not only will Sean teach you in a way you will understand, but he really believes in his students, and that's the best type of person to teach you a new skill.”

Choo Choo Chat

My app improves communication between CSX Railroad roadmasters and contractors. The roadmaster can add roads to a list, and contractors will see "preset," "close," and "open" buttons for each road. With a simple button push, this allows the roadmaster to easily instruct contractors on when to prepare, close, or open roads for maintenance.

Ultimate Fighter II - The Battle Continues

Ultimate Fighter II is a luck-infused, strategy-driven fighting simulator built with Phaser and React. It’s the first video game to be built as a final project for Carolina Code School, inspired by my initial coding project—a Python, text-based game. This original challenge ignited my passion for coding and my desire to learn new technologies, showcased in my final app. Stay tuned for more updates and content!

Partnerships for Success

We always seek passionate collaborators who share our enthusiasm for education and technology. Whether you're a company seeking talented coders or a tech professional looking to give back through scholarships, event sponsorships, or company tours, we'd love to connect!

Our graduates are more than skilled coders. They're problem-solvers, innovators, and critical thinkers. They bring fresh perspectives and a thirst for knowledge to their projects.

Congratulations again to our graduates! We're excited to see what incredible things you achieve in the future!

Congratulations to our team (Pat, Sean, and Chelsea) and our volunteers, who supported Cohort 18 from day one to Demo Day and beyond. Thank you for your dedication and hard work!
